GV II

Farmhouse. Datestone 1683. Extended in C18. Alterations in C20. Coursed limestone rubble. Steeply pitched slate roofs. Paired brick end stack on C17 part. Brick ridge and lateral stacks on C18 part. 2-unit plan plus later extension forms T-plan. storeys throughout. C18 part is of 3-window range. Approximately central entrance has 4-panelled door and wood lintel. 2- and 3-light casement windows to ground floor and first floor. Earlier casement windows to ground floor and first floor. Earlier part on left. Front elevation has 2 renewed windows on ground and first floor. Interior said to have chamfered beams and inglenooks. Inhabited from 1713 to 1743 by Lawrence Broderick, rector.
