Description
The stables, now used as a store, are located to the south-west of Upper House Farmhouse and date from the 18th century. They are constructed of stone rubble and coursed stone rubble, topped with a corrugated iron sheet roof. The building is single storey with a loft and features a single gabled bay. The east gable has a stable door, while there is a window opening on the right side and a plain boarded loft door on the west gable, all of which are adorned with brick segmental lintels. Inside, there is a chamfered bridging beam, stalls, and a single purlin roof. The stables are included for their group value with Upper House Farmhouse.
