Description
The building is a stable located 25 meters to the northeast of East Hall Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century and converted in the early 19th century. It features a timber frame set on a red brick sill and is covered in dark weatherboarding. The south gable and the ground floor on the west front are made of sandy red brick, topped with a steep old red tile roof. This tall building has three bays and faces west, with two stable doors and two slatted windows on the ground floor, as well as a pitching-door in the weatherboarded upper section above the more northerly door. There is a high granary door in the south gable beneath a tie-beam, accessed by wooden steps. The stable includes an inserted floor supported by heavy cross-beams. It is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
