Description

Rusling End Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-frame farmhouse, substantially re-faced in the late 18th or early 19th century with red brick. The gable ends incorporate some 17th-century flint and red brick in a chequered pattern. It has a plain tile roof. The two-storey farmhouse has five windows, with the ground floor windows having segmental heads. The windows are 2-light casements from the 20th century. A 1970s tile-hung porch shelters the door on the right, central side. An external chimney stack is located on the left. A rear gabled projection on the right exhibits some exposed timber framing. Internally, there are exposed beams and joists forming three or four bays.
