Description

The barn at Little Easthall Farm, located 30 meters northwest of the house, dates from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame resting on a low brick sill and is covered in dark weatherboarding. The barn has a steeply pitched roof, which is currently made of corrugated asbestos. It is a tall structure with three bays and includes a gabled porch on the eastern side of the middle bay. The barn has jowled posts and straight braces supporting the tie-beams. Each slope of the roof has inclined queen-posts leading to a single purlin, and there is a mid-height rail. Windbraces are present only on the gable walls. Additionally, there is a lean-to outshut to the south of the porch, which has a catslide roof.
