Description
This building is a stable with an attached pigsty, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed tooled sandstone and features a pantiled roof with a stone ridge, copings, and kneelers. The structure is one storey high, with the pigsty being lower than the stable. The gable end faces the house. There are three boarded stable-type doors in total, and the feeding chutes at the back of the pigsty are now blocked. This building is included for its group value with the nearby Holme Farmhouse.
