Description

INGLEBY GREENHOW GREENHOW ROAD NZ 50 SE East side (off) 11/102 West Wood Farmhouse II GV

Farmhouse, now house. Late C18; later additions, and c.1989 alterations and restoration. Coursed squared herringbone-tooled stone; pantile roof with stone coping; stone stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays, with wing to rear right. Entrance elevations: plinth. Openings have long lintels with tall raised keystones, the windows deepened late C20 and with replacement sills. Central late C20 gabled porch, with keyed elliptical doorway, masks original doorway. C20 small-pane sash windows, tripartite to outer bays. Cyma-moulded eaves band. Shaped kneelers. Corniced end stacks. Rear: wing has shaped kneelers, shouldered corniced end stack, and added outshut (not of special interest). Interior: front range has moulded joists and floor boards.
