Description
Yew Tree Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed from coursed squared stone with painted stone dressings and features a slate roof and brick gable stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, with lower single bay additions on either side. The entrance is off-centre, featuring a plain surround and a bracketed stone hood above. On either side of the door are 20th-century casement windows in plain surrounds. Above the entrance is a central single light window with a flush surround, flanked by two-light flush mullion windows, all fitted with single pane casements. The eastern addition includes a glazed lean-to, while the western addition has a plank door and a tall window.
