Description
The hay barn at Manor House Farm is a mid-19th century structure that has been altered over time. It is built of stone, with some sections featuring boarding, and is topped with a double Roman tile roof. The barn consists of four bays by one bay and is open-sided, with later infill added to the rear and left side. The square piers of the barn have chamfered offsets, and the gables are vertically boarded. The roof features central collared principal-rafter trusses and braced king-post trusses at the ends, with through purlins. This building is included for its group value.
