Description
Sarum is a detached cottage located in South Perrott, dating from the 19th century but incorporating materials from the 17th century. The building has an L-shaped plan with its gable end facing the road. It features dressed stone walls and a slate roof, which has stone gable coping at the front and a hipped roof at the north-west corner. The cottage is two storeys high and has approximately three windows, which have been altered using 17th-century materials. The upper floor includes a two-light casement window with glazing bars, and there is a small triangular-headed window situated above the front door. The front door, located in the angle of the building, is a 20th-century addition with recessed panels and two leaded lights above.
