Description

ST4916 0DCOMBE CP PARK LANE (North side) 8/267 Milestone at NGR ST 4999 1611 - - II Milestone. Probably C18. Ham stone, 400 m wide x 100 mm thick, about 600 mm high, with triangular top. Inscribed 'L0NDON/l27/YEOVIL/4'. The road does not appear to have been turnpiked and it is not known who placed the stone (Bentley and Murless, Somerset Roads, Somerset Industrial Archaeological Society, 1985).
