House and shop. Early C19. Local lias stone cut and squared; Welsh slate roof between abutments, double hipped at corner; stone chimney stacks with brick tops. 'L'-plan with curved corner; 2 storeys; 3 bays to New Street, 1 bay on curve, 1 bay to Broad Street. Sash windows in plain openings with dovetailed stone lintels over, of 16-panes to bays 1, 2, 3 and 5 first floor, with 20-pane window on curved bay 4; below, large plain shop windows bays 1 and 5; 9-flush panel door under rectangular margined fanlight left of bay 1; and to bays 2 with 3, and also to bay 4, are two matching Regency style shopfronts, the former with recessed glazed door to right, and the latter with central recessed door which is set under an open segmental pediment crowning the fascia; ornamental arrowhead finials to flanking timber pilasters to each front. On a prominent corner, and most important in the streetscape.
