Description
Little House is a cottage located in a row of buildings, dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, with Ham stone dressings. The roof is made of clay pantiles and features bick chimney stacks. The cottage has two storeys and consists of a single bay.
On the ground floor, there is a hollow chamfered mullioned window with three lights, which has a label above it and leaded panes. Above this window is a three-light small pane casement of an early design. To the right of the window, there is a plain chamfered stone surround for the doorway, which has a deep stone lintel and a 20th-century door. The interior has not been seen. Little House is part of a notable group of small cottages on a street that was first recorded in 1349.
