Description
This building is a house with a shop, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from locally sourced lias stone, which is cut and squared, and features a clay pantile roof supported by abutments, along with brick chimney stacks. The structure has two storeys and consists of three bays. The windows are sash style with four panes in plain openings, while the lower bay three has a segmental arched head. The lower bay two features a segmental arched doorway with a partially glazed door. The shopfront is well-preserved, showcasing angled bay windows with two, four, and two panes, flanking a recessed pair of glazed doors, all beneath a slim continuous fascia topped with a lead flat roof. The interior has not been seen. This building is included in the listing primarily for its group value with nearby structures.
