Description

Martins is a cottage located at the end of a row, likely built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, topped with a clay pantiled roof featuring stepped coped gables and brick chimney stacks at each end. The cottage has two storeys and consists of two bays. It features sash windows with 20 panes set in plain openings, which have dovetailed stone lintels. Between the bays, there is a six flush panel door that matches the openings. The interior has not been seen. This cottage is part of a group of small cottages situated on a street that was first recorded in 1349.
