Description

Bonds Chemist Limited is a house and shop dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of Doulting stone ashlar and features a hipped Welsh slate roof with a wide eaves overhang and paired bracketed exposed rafter ends, along with rendered chimney stacks. The building has three storeys and three bays. It has a plinth, plain pilaster strips, and a band course between the upper floors.

The lower bays one and two have a late 20th-century two-pane shopfront that is set flush, with a recessed door to the left. Bay three contains a six-panel door with a rectangular fanlight in a plain opening. Above this, there are blind central recesses on both levels. On the first floor, there is a 16-pane sash window to the left, which is probably a later addition, and a 12-pane sash window to the right. The second floor features 9-pane sashes. The interior has not been seen.
