Description
Woodcock House is a town house, now used as offices, dating from the early 19th century. It is built from Cary stone that has been cut and squared, and features a plain clay tile roof that has an abutment to the east and a coped gable to the west, along with a brick chimney stack. The building is two storeys high and has three bays.
On the ground floor, there are composite sash windows that are plain, with a wide central window and narrow flanking lights. The upper storey has similar windows, but the central sash is replaced by two horizontal-bar casement windows, all of which are set under stone voussoired flat arches. The lower centre bay features a six-panelled door framed by an architrave and topped with a pediment hood supported by simple console brackets. The west gable of the house is rendered. The interior has not been seen.
