Description
Barrington School is a mid-19th century building constructed in coursed and squared rubble with dressed quoins, a plinth band, and a slate roof featuring coped verges. It is designed in the Neo-Perpendicular style and is a single storey structure with three bays. The school has three-light square-headed windows adorned with Perpendicular style tracery and diamond-paned leaded lights, each with labels above them. The central door opening leads to a large gabled porch with a pointed-arch door opening that has a chamfered surround and paired plank outer doors. Additionally, there is a transomed stone-mullioned window on the left return of the building.
