Description
Budd's Farmhouse is a farmhouse that features elements from the 17th century, although its core may be older. It is constructed from coursed rubble and has three brick chimney stacks, topped with a thatched roof. The building has a through-passage plan and includes a single storey and an attic, with a layout of 1:1:2 bays. The ground floor is adorned with stone-mullioned windows that have labels and square-paned leaded lights. There is also an 18th-century casement window with leaded lights, along with two 20th-century windows, one being a two-light casement and the other a two-light mullioned window made of reconstituted stone, both featuring leaded lights. The farmhouse has three door openings with wooden lintels, including two plank doors, one of which is half-glazed. Additionally, there is a range of buildings to the west that are now part of the farmhouse.
