Description

Vinces Cottage is a house that dates from the 16th and 17th centuries, with alterations made in the 18th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble, has coped verges, brick stacks, and a thatched roof. The building is one storey and has an attic, featuring four bays on the ground floor. It includes two and three-light casement windows with square-paned leaded lights, and there are two three-light windows on the first floor that are covered by bonnet hoods. The door opening is centrally located and has a 20th-century door. Inside, there are notable features such as a shouldered doorway, a smoke hood, and a roof made of cruck construction.
