Description
Victoria Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble with a thatched roof featuring a coped verge and brick stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a total of four bays. The ground floor has three-light casements with glazing bars, while the first floor features unusual four-light transomed Gothic dormers under thatched hoods, also with glazing bars and leaded lights. There is a door opening to the second bay, which includes a 19th-century half-glazed door with a corrugated-iron hood supported by fretwork brackets. The left return has two and five-light casements, and there is a wing at the rear. The interior retains remnants of a post and truss roof and two firehoods, as noted in an unpublished report from September 1977.
