Description

This barn, located 48 metres east of the Estate Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, and it features a Welsh slate roof with coped gables. The barn consists of twelve narrow bays and has a collar-trussed roof that is of a later date. On the central west side, there are a pair of tall doors that are divided into two halves, set within a 3-centred arch made of voussoirs. Opposite, on the east wall, there is a projection that has a catslide roof and tall double doors, which are also halved.
