Description

This barn, located 12 metres northeast of Higher Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed from local stone that has been cut and squared, topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof. The barn features a traditional plan, including a projecting full-height porch on the west side, which has tall timber doors. There are lean-to buildings with clay tile roofs on either side of the porch, which have had later doors and windows added. The barn has group value with the nearby wagon shed and farmhouse.
