Description

Lea Cottage is an end-of-terrace cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from local stone that has been cut and squared, featuring Ham stone coping and a moulded kneeler bracket. The roof is made of Welsh slate with wood bracketed eaves, and there are rebuilt brick stacks. The cottage is two stories high with a single bay. To the right of the window is a modern part-glazed door, and there are casement windows at both levels. Each opening has a single voussoired stone lintel. Lea Cottage is part of a group of three small cottages in an interesting terrace.
