Description

Latchmore is a cottage dating from the mid-17th century, with later extensions on both sides. It is built of local stone rubble that is roughly coursed, with Ham stone dressings. The roof is thatched and features coped gables, along with 20th-century brick chimney stacks. The cottage is two stories high and consists of five bays, with the first bay likely being an early 20th-century addition and the fifth bay somewhat earlier. There is a rear entrance. The windows include 2-light leaded casement windows in the first bay, hollow chamfered windows on the ground floor of bays two, three, and four, and 2 and 3-light leaded casement windows on the first floor and both levels of bay five.
