Description

Fairways is an end-of-terrace cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is built from locally sourced stone that has been cut and squared, featuring Ham stone coping and a moulded kneeler bracket. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has wood-bracketed eaves, with a rebuilt brick chimney stack. The cottage is two stories high and consists of a single bay. There is a 20th-century entrance door located to the left of a window. Both levels have 16-pane sash windows, each with a single voussoired stone lintel above. Fairways is part of a group of three small cottages that form an interesting terrace.
