BURTON SALMON POOLE ROW SE 42 NE (south side) 3/12 Poole Manor Farmhouse

24.10.80 GV II Farmhouse. Probably mid-late C17 with later additions and alterations. Rendered magnesian limestone with ashlar dressings and pantile roof. 3-cell lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys, 4 first floor windows. Two off-centre entrances, 4-panel doors in quoined surrounds. Ground floor: 16-pane Yorkshire sashes and C20 casements. 1st floor band. First floor has 12- pane Yorkshire sashes. Ashlar band. Ridge, end and front stacks. Rear: ground floor has a 4-light mullion window in double-chamfered surround under hood. Hoods to other ground floor and central first floor windows. Ashlar kneelers and coping. Interior has beams and shutters. C18 panelled rooms to 2nd and 3rd bays. Said to have good staircase.
