Description
This is a footbridge built in 1825 by Sandford & Yates, located over a lake in Byram Park, formerly known as the old footbridge over the lake at Byram Hall. The structure features ashlar and brick piers, with a combination of wood and cast iron making up the bridge itself. It has three segmental arches, with the central arch being larger than the others. The spandrels are adorned with pointed arcading and quatrefoil decoration above the piers. The bridge is finished with a latticework parapet.
