Description
The farm building range to the north of Poole Manor Farmhouse is now used as stables and garages. It is likely from the late 17th century, with some later alterations. The structure is made of rendered limestone rubble and features a roof of pantiles and stone slates, with ashlar coping and kneelers. The building is L-shaped in plan.
The left range is two storeys high and has five openings on the first floor. There is a 20th-century garage door on the left with an armorial shield above it. To the right are stable doors, while the ground floor is mostly blocked by a later range of buildings. The right range includes a waggon entrance on the left and three stable doors on the right, with window openings in between. There are breather openings on the first floor. Inside, the building has ashlar stacks and feeding troughs.
