Description

Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse located on Low Street in Billingborough, dating from the early to mid 17th century, with later additions from the mid 19th century and 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ironstone bands and some limestone ashlar. It features a pantile roof with a stone-coped west gable, gable stacks, and a single ridge stack.

The farmhouse has a lobby entrance plan and is two storeys high with a six-bay front, including two early 17th-century bays on the east side. To the left, there is a doorway with a plain ashlar doorcase and a panelled door. The left side has two mullion windows, while the right side features a single mullion window with 19th-century two-light casements inserted. There is a clear masonry break to the right, which has two intact two-light mullion windows with casements. All ground floor windows are adorned with moulded cornices.

Above, to the left, there are two mullion windows that have been broken into by 19th-century casements, which extend above the roofline, with tall stone-coped gables. To the right, there is a stone-coped gabled dormer featuring a two-light casement, followed by a three-light mullion window with a moulded cornice and a blocked mullion window to the right.
