Description

Weston Cottage is a cottage, likely dating from the late 18th century, with alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of reddish-brown local brick, with a plinth of large stones to the right. The roof is swept, covered in pantiles, with end stacks. The cottage is two storeys high and comprises three bays. The first floor windows are segmental arched sashes in flush wood architraves. Modern casements are set within segmental brick arches on the ground floor. A central entrance has a 20th-century door and porch. The building is included on the list as part of a group, as it continues the same line of frontage, eaves, and roof level and shape of old timbers.
