Description

Gelder Cottage and Plum Tree Cottage are two cottages built in the mid to late 18th century. They are constructed from pinkish-brown local brick and feature concrete tiles and pantiles on the roof, with end and ridge chimneys. The cottages are two storeys high. The left cottage has three bays, with Yorkshire sash windows that have painted splayed lintels and a central half-glazed door. There is a band at the first floor level. The right cottage has two bays, also with Yorkshire sash windows, and an end six-panel door. Both cottages have stepped and dentilled eaves. They are included partly for their group value.
