Description
Inn House Farmhouse and the attached outbuilding were originally two cottages that were remodeled into an inn in the 19th century and are now used as a farmhouse. The building dates from the mid-18th century and incorporates parts of an earlier structure, with late 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of squared limestone on a limestone rubble plinth, featuring a brick eaves course and a pantile roof with rebuilt brick stacks.
The farmhouse is two stories high and has a three-window front, with a 1.5-storey outbuilding to the right and an extension at the rear. The entrance is a panelled door with an overlight, situated beneath a bracketed porch. This door is flanked by 20-pane sash windows on both the ground and first floors, while the left side features 28-pane sashes on both levels. All windows have painted stone sills, with painted wedge lintels over the ground-floor windows and thin timber lintels over the first-floor windows. The outbuilding includes a window with vertical bars located between a stable door and a board door, as well as a 12-pane sash window at the far right, all with thin timber lintels. The house has brick stacks at both ends and in the center on the left side.
