Description
Nos 10 and 11 on Village Street are a pair of houses built around 1800, with alterations and extensions from the 19th and 20th centuries. They are constructed of squared limestone on a limestone rubble plinth, featuring a brick eaves course and a pantile roof with brick chimney stacks. The buildings are two stories tall with a four-window front.
No 10, located on the left, has a 20th-century door to the right of a 24-pane sash window, with a similar window above on the first floor and a 16-pane sash over the door. No 11 features a 20th-century door situated between large-pane casement windows, with similar windows on the first floor. All windows have painted stone sills and painted timber lintels above the openings. At the rear, No 10 has a single-storey outshut with a catslide roof. The houses have chimney stacks at both the ends and the center.
