Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse and cottage, now functioning as a house, dating from the late 18th century with later alterations. The front is made of dressed limestone, while the sides and rear are constructed from limestone rubble. The building features a pantile roof and brick stacks. It has a central staircase plan and was later extended into a cottage on the right side, with outshuts.
The structure is two stories high with a three-window front. On the left side, there is a board door with a blind overlight, and on the right, a 20th-century door with an overlight. All ground floor openings have heavy tooled lintels, while the first-floor windows are supported by timber lintels. The gables are coped with shaped kneelers, and there are stacks at both ends and to the right of center. Inside, there is a stone fireplace with a corbelled-out shaped mantleshelf in the center room.
