Description
15 Regent Parade is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall and features a double front with four windows. The roof is slated, with coped gables and modified kneelers. The exterior is made of grit stone ashlar, accented with floor bands and an eaves cornice. A gabled dormer is present, and the windows are recessed sash types with glazing bars. The first-floor windows have cast iron balconies. There are two double shopfronts that include a projecting cornice, with shop windows featuring columnette-mullions and arched lights. The central house doorway is flanked by panelled pilasters and includes a fanlight above a raised and fielded panel door. Both the house and shop entrances are accessed by steps. The building retains its original lead rainwater heads and pipes. Notably, No 15 also includes the former No 14. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 3, Nos 6 and 7, Nos 9 to 13, and Nos 15 and 17 to 19, along with Nos 1A, 2A, 10A, and 11A.
