Description

Nos 8 and 9 on Silver Street are a building from the 18th or 19th century that contains two properties. The structure is two storeys high and has a frontage that steps up the hill. It features ashlar stonework, a cornice, and a parapet, topped with a slate roof. There are five windows with sash designs set in reveals, although only No 9 has glazing bars. No 8 includes a late 19th-century shop front with a central entrance and an overall fascia, along with a panelled door on the left side. No 9 has a modern shop front and a plain door on the left. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 7 to 11 (consecutive) and Nos 13 and 14.
