Description
28 Silver Street is an 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed of ashlar stone. It features a moulded cornice and a plain parapet, topped with a pantiled roof. The building has two sash windows on the upper floors, each with architrave surrounds. The first-floor windows are adorned with flat moulded cornices and glazing bars. The ground floor has modern shop fronts, with central doorways flanked by these shop fronts, all beneath a dentilled fascia. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 27 to 29 Silver Street, No 2 Kingston Road, The Kings Arms Hotel, and Nos 2, 5, and 6 Coppice Hill, along with all the listed buildings in the Shambles.
