Description

Nos 23 and 24 Cheap Street is an early 19th-century building that has been remodeled. It consists of one structure with two shops on the ground floor. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar, featuring a cornice and parapet. The building stands three storeys high and has two windows with glazing bar sashes set in reveals. No 23 has a simple late 19th-century shop front with recent window designs. In contrast, No 24 boasts a larger mid-19th-century shop front that slightly projects, complete with a cornice and fascia pilasters, 12 panes, a panelled door with an overlight, and a rusticated base with steps.
