Description

No. 25 is a mid-19th century remodelling of an earlier 19th century building, originally an infill property. It is three storeys and has an attic. The exterior is ashlar. A modillion cornice runs along the top of the building, and above it is a parapet with a raised panel for an oculus window in the dormer. The second floor has a tripartite casement window with a mullion and transom, and a raised surround. An angled bay with a parapet is on the first floor, featuring a mullion and transom window with 1+2+1 glazing. The ground floor has a projecting shop front from the early 20th century, with a segmental-headed shop window and an arched doorway set back on the right-hand side.
