Description
Number 1, Regent Parade is a 19th-century building that has been altered. It stands three storeys high and features a double front with three windows, along with a slightly recessed one-window extension at the southern end. The roof is hipped and slated, with bracketed eaves. The exterior is constructed from coursed, squared grit stone rubble and includes sill bands. The recessed sash windows, mostly with two lights, have lintels that are marked out as voussoirs. A central first-floor window is adorned with a cast iron balconette. The entrance has a wooden porch with a cornice and a round arched doorway flanked by Tuscan half columns. This building is included for its group value with several other nearby properties.
