Description

9 Regent Parade is a building dating from the 19th century. It is a three-storey, double-fronted structure with three window bays. The roof is slate-covered, and the exterior is constructed of grit stone ashlar with rusticated quoins. A cornice runs along the top of the building, featuring segmental, bracketed pediments over the end bays. The windows are sash-style, with architraves; the second floor has bracketed sills while the first floor features splayed bay windows with arched lights and bracketed cornices. The ground floor also has a bracketed cornice. The entrance is framed by panelling, a fanlight, and a panelled door. The building forms a group with numbers 1 to 3, 6 & 7, 9 to 13, and 15 to 19, along with 1A, 2A, 10A and 11A Regent Parade.
