Description

Jasmine Cottage is a house located on Constitution Hill in Settle, dating from the early 19th century but with origins in the 17th century. The building is constructed from slobbered rubble with stone dressing and features a slate roof. It has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance has a plain surround and a six-panel door, with the upper two panels glazed. On the ground floor, there are two bow windows with 20-pane sash windows, while the upper floor has a central window with sashes flanked by two additional 20-pane sash windows, all featuring plain surrounds. To the right, there is a blocked 17th-century doorway at the upper floor level with a basket-arched head. The cottage is topped with gable end chimney stacks.
