Description
Greystones is a house located on Belle Hill in Giggleswick. It dates from the mid-18th century and has undergone early 19th-century and 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed of slobbered rubble with stone dressings and features a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys tall and has two bays. The entrance on the right side has a plain surround on square bases, with a former six-panel door that now has a glazed upper half. There are two windows on each storey, all with plain surrounds and projecting sills; the sashes do not have glazing bars. The left-hand gable end and a ridge stack are located left of center. At the rear, there are two upper floor windows with mid-18th-century moulded surrounds. The house is included for its group value.
