Description
Bridge Cottage is a house, probably dating from the late 17th century, with alterations and a cottage added in the 19th century. It is constructed of slobbered rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and consists of four bays overall. The house section on the right includes a chamfered doorway, which has been filled with cement but still reveals large stones in the jambs. Next to this doorway is a three-light double chamfered stone mullion window. In the reveal of a square mullion window with two lights, there is a 12-pane sash window. The cottage section has a plain doorway and a 16-pane sash window on the ground floor. Gable chimneys are present, and there are later outshuts at the rear that also feature sash windows.
