Description
Milestone located by the entrance to Micklethorn Farm, dating from the 19th century. It is made of iron and has the shape of a triangular prism with a rounded top. The top of the milestone displays the inscription "SKIPTON & CLITHEROE ROAD - BROUGHTON." The left face indicates "SKIPTON 4 Miles," while the right face shows "CLITHEROE 14 Miles."
