Description
This milestone, located 300 meters south of Gubs Hill, dates from the mid-19th century and is made of iron. It has a triangular prism shape with a rounded top. The top of the milestone is inscribed with "COLNE AND BROUGHTON ROAD - THORNTON IN CRAVEN". The left face indicates "SKIPTON 5 Miles" and the right face shows "COLNE 7 Miles".
