Description

This is a 19th-century iron milestone located near New Hall Farm. The milestone is shaped like a triangular prism with a semi-circular top. It features the inscription "Blackburn Addingham and Cocking End Road - Sutton" on the front. The left-hand panel indicates distances to Colne (7 miles) and Burnley (13 miles), while the right-hand panel shows distances to Keighley (6 1/4 miles) and Addingham (9 miles).
