Description
West Close Farm Farmhouse is a farmhouse with facades dating from the later 17th century and later 19th century. The front elevation features two storeys and three windows, with a one-window cottage attached at the right-hand end. It has two-light flush mullion windows and a doorway with a stone hood supported by cut consoles. The front is constructed of hammer-dressed stone, while the rear is made of rubble and has a stone slate roof. An outshut obscures part of the rear, but the windows include double chamfered designs, with three lights on the lower floor and four lights above, along with the remains of another window on the first floor to the left. The upper windows are adorned with hoodmoulds, and there are three chimneys present.
