Description

The fountain, located in the Market Place of Settle, is likely from the 18th century, with a late 19th-century base added when it was moved to its current location in the 1870s. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a square base that includes two drinking troughs surrounded by vermiculated rustication. A tapered Tuscan column supports a ball finial on top.
